Broadcast Engineer

Inspired Image Picture Company Inc. (IIPC) evolving Multi Camera and Streaming Broadcast services is looking for an energetic Broadcast Engineer to join our team in Toronto. This dynamic individual will lead the design, consulting, integration and troubleshooting responsibilities in this exciting field.

Position Summary

• Report to the National Operations Manager
• Engineer responsible for overseeing the consultation, design, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installation of all the electronic equipment within the production environment.
• Take initiative in researching workflows, solutions & new equipment that could benefit our clients & multicamera workflows.

Technical Support

• Provide tech support to clients and assist with the technical and IP/IT signal flow for multicamera productions.
• Provide contractors with support as needed.
• Provide tech support and training as required to all departments of IIPC.
• As required, be available to work in Vancouver on various productions, or in other venues around Canada, providing services as outlined above.
• Maintain Engineering office & supplies.
• Assist in the organization of the warehouse for optimal proficiency.
• Troubleshoot & repair equipment in-house as necessary.

What You Bring

• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Consistently deliver excellent customer service.
• An understanding of broadcast multicamera and IP/IT workflows.
• Previous mobile truck or airpack experience an asset.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
